I wanted to do a review on the Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat. I've owned it for about two months now so I can give an honest review. I hesitated about buying such an expensive topcoat. As you can see by my blog name, I'm always on a budget, therefore, I like to buy good things 'on a budget.' I watched A LOT of YouTube reviews, read lots of reviews on internet, etc., until I finally decided to give it a try.
Luckily, I've gotten mine for about $8.00 for 2 bottles on Amazon.
I must say though, be aware of whom you order these from because the last time I ordered mine, I didn't realized I ordered from a different vendor, so when I received my package, one bottle was missing the brush and they came w/o a box.
I had ordered them twice from a different seller before (Cosmetics Central on Amazon) and my bottles came in boxes and nicely packed with instructions and everything, so after seeing how they are supposed to be, I wondered whether mine were new or not.
Pros:
- Brightens up the nail colors
- Seals in the designs perfectly
- Smooths any smudges, dents, sheet marks, etc
- Does NOT smear your designs
- Hardens and thickens your nails with frequent use
- Dyes SUPER fast
- Can be use while your polish is still wet and won't leave any bubbles, streaks or smears behind
- Because it thickens your nail polish, sometimes your polish will just peel off
- The side closer to the cuticles starts peeling off and looks white
- The polish itself thickens after a while of usage so you....
- Need to get a thinner to bring it back to its original consistency **
**This can be seen as a pro also as if you get a thinner, it is more of an investment because you cannot only use for restoring your SV topcoat, you can also use it for any other nail polish that have left us for good. :( They can come back to life. ;)
