SensatioNail Colors of the Month - August

Happy August mis amores!

This summer has been H-O-T! As I type this blog post, it is 98 degrees here in Virginia but it feels like 108.  It feels like I am going to melt the moment I put a foot out.

This month, SensatioNail has chosen nine colors to represent August. Three of which are vibrant summer shades but the rest are gorgeous autumn neutral hues.  Below are the swatches of all the colors for this month.

Let's get swatchin'!

First up is 'Precious Peony.' Yes, you know it, I HAD to swatch my favorite color first. I love this pink. It is sort of a jelly gel polish. Two coats would be enough to cover your nails, however, a third coat would make the color pop ever more.

Nest we have 'Mostly Mint.' This is my second favorite color of this month. This is a creme color so two coats are more than enough for full coverage.  I have two swatches of this color to show you the difference in lighting.  As soon as I saw both Precious Peony and Mostly Mint, I immediately knew I just had to pair them for mani. You can see it on my IG profile. The link will be at the bottom of the post.

Our third swatch is 'Fuchsia Fab.' Like its name says, this is a bright fuchsia with a creme consistency. Two coats will suffice for full coverage.

Now, here are the swatches of the autunm/neutral colors. We are beginning with 'So Chic.' As I was swatching this color, I was wishing it was fall already so I can start rocking it. I don't have any colors like it so I was super thrilled when I see it.

Next in line is  'Mauving On Up.' I am not a huge fan of neutral colors but O-M-G I am in love with this one. It reminds me of a smoky purple-ish tone. LOVE LOVE LOVE. It is of a creme consistency as well so two coats are more than enough. This color would look lovely with a shiny finish or a matte finish.

The following color is called 'Ravishing Raisin.' This is like a metallic antique rose color (if that makes sense :)  ). This is a universally flattering color. It would look beautiful on any skin tone.

Next is 'Merlot Magic.' A stunning shimmering deep deep red. Absolutely gorgeous!

This next color is 'Pink Pawn.' Such a lovely nude. Honestly, I think this is the perfect nude for a darker complexion. I would make rich skin tones  look flawless. and sophisticated.

Last but not least is 'Silver Seduction.' This is a silver glitter polish with a  golden pearl-lesque sheen. This color look super good on all the colors of this month. Below is a swatch of the color by itself and immediately below is a swatch of Silver Seduction over Mostly Mint, Precious Peony and Mauving on Up.

What do you guys think of the colors of the month? I loved all of them. I wish I had more fingers to wear all these colors at once. :)
Which was your favorite?

XOXO,
Bellini
